AHA Disclaimer

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.

As instructors teaching AHA courses are independent entities and not providing services for the American Heart Association, course costs reflect an agreed upon value between individual instructors and clients.  These can vary depending on the class sizes, distance, equipment, and other factors.

Automated External Defibrillators

Routinely in the course of training, business or medical entities may inquire about procuring Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for use at their place of business.  While we provide training in the use of AEDs we believe that favoring, selling, or soliciting any given device would be a conflict-of-interest as instructors.  The American Heart Association provides resources for those interested in knowing more about purchasing AEDs for their workplace, and we would be happy to assist our clients in developing and implementing a plan that works for them.
